What is Hemingway Performance?

A personal performance tracking app for people who take their training and health seriously. It brings your workouts, body composition, bloodwork, recovery, and health protocols into one place — instead of scattered across five different apps.

What can I track?
What platforms does it run on?

A native iOS app for day-to-day use, plus a web dashboard for deeper review and data management — bloodwork uploads, charts, and account settings.

What devices do I need?

Just an iPhone to start. Body composition syncs from compatible smart scales (Wyze now, Withings coming). Recovery data comes from Apple Health (Apple Watch and others). None of these are required — you can log everything manually.

Can I import my existing data?

Yes — you can upload workout history and bloodwork to bring into the app. Workout data exported from most health and fitness trackers can be uploaded for analysis, and bloodwork comes in as a PDF.

A heads-up on imports: every app exports its data a little differently, so some files may need extra work on our end to read cleanly. If your export doesn't come through perfectly the first time, send it over and we'll sort it out — we're actively expanding the formats we support.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is yours. It's stored securely, isolated to your own account, and never sold or shared. You can export everything, or delete your account and all its data, at any time from your profile. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Is this medical advice?

No. Hemingway Performance is a personal tracking tool for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to anything health-related.

Does the app tell me what to take or how to dose?

No. You log the protocols you're already following under your own medical guidance — the app records and trends what you enter. It makes no recommendations and suggests no compounds or doses. It's a logbook, not an advisor.

What does it cost?
PlanMonthlyAnnual
Core$9.99$79.99
Performance$14.99$119.99
Elite$24.99$199.99
Founding Member$79/yr · locked forever

Annual billing works out cheaper than monthly on every tier. Founding Member is a one-time launch offer with limited spots — that $79/year rate is locked in for life. See the full plan comparison →  ·  Founding details →

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every new account gets a 14-day Performance trial, so you can try the full feature set before paying anything. After 14 days it moves to the free tier unless you choose a plan. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime — no lock-in.

Why a subscription instead of a one-time purchase?

It's an actively developed app with real ongoing costs — AI bloodwork parsing, cloud infrastructure, and a steady stream of new features. The subscription keeps it maintained and improving, rather than shipped once and abandoned.

What's coming next?

Active development. On the near-term roadmap: Withings scale support, push reminders for protocols and bloodwork, a dedicated recovery tab, and more import formats. Founding Members and Elite users get early access and a direct say in what gets built.

Who built this?

One person — a lifter on his own protocols who couldn't find an app that did all of this in one place, so he built it. You get a direct line to the founder for feedback and feature requests, and that feedback genuinely shapes the roadmap.
